Attitude

attitude

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important that the past, education, money,
circumstances, failure, success,
than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.
It will make or break a company….a church….a home.
The remarkable thing is that we have a choice everyday
regarding the attitude that we will embrace for the day.
We cannot change our past….
we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have,
and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me
and  90% how I react to it.
And so it is with you…..
you are in charge of your attitude.

  1. So very, very true! If one chooses to be the victim, then one will be the victim. If one chooses to put ones chin up and hold ones head high and keeps moving on, making improvements in oneself, then one will be a winner in ones own right.

  2. So very true Jonie, no matter what we do we can alter perception just by change of attitude and even if you get knocked down, always, always get back up. Lovely choice.

  3. Once again, a much-needed encouragement. I’m having repeat surgery Monday on a hernia – the first time was a very bad experience a few years ago and I’ve been trying to put it out of my mind instead of taking it to the Lord. This helps me place it in perspective! Bless you!!!!!!
