Edward P. Morgan

And all the sweet serenity of books.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

and strengthens our most fatal tendency –

Allan Bloom

and sextants and charts
which other men have prepared to help us
navigate the dangerous seas of human life.
Jesse Lee Bennett
