Integrity

George William Watts – Hope

It has always seemed strange to me…
the things we admire in men,
kindness and generosity, openness, honesty,
understanding and feeling,
are the concomitants of failure in our system.
And those traits we detest,
sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness,
egotism and self-interest,
are the traits of success.
And while men admire the quality of the first
they love the produce of the second.
John Steinbeck

It is impossible to calculate the moral mischief,
if I may so express it,
that mental lying has produced in society.
When a man has so far corrupted and prostituted
the chastity of his mind
as to subscribe his professional belief to things
he does not believe
he has prepared himself for the commission of every other crime.
Thomas Paine

The line separating good and evil
passes not through states,
nor between political parties either –
but right through every human heart.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn

This is my favorite part. Words of wisdom that come from your hearts-eye touches more than we- can- any of us realize. Good things seem to be happening.
Now to share this so that ONE lost soul may find it is my goal. Goodness knows how many lost souls you have touched my friend. For some- gentle reminders you provide always sets the record straight. Your words are powerful and well placed. For words nor time can we ever retrieve.
